Sequence is a digital triptych that examines the human condition through language,
presence, and transformation. The work unfolds across three simultaneous portraits — SELF, OTHER, and BECOMING — forming a visual and conceptual sequence.
Each face becomes a surface for words that do not describe the subject, but momentarily inhabit it. In SELF, terms such as Presence, Stillness, and Awake point toward interior awareness and the fragile act of being with oneself. OTHER introduces the social mirror — Seen, Unheard, Belong, Human — revealing identity as something continuously shaped through recognition, absence, and relation. BECOMING completes the triptych with language of movement and transition: Emerging, Transform, Crossing, Persist.
Text and image overlap, fragment, and accumulate, dissolving the boundaries between language and portrait. Faces become sites of inscription where meaning remains unstable and continuously negotiated. Identity appears as layered and mutable, shaped through perception, relation, and the passage of time.
Sequence holds a moment of reflection, where the faces emerge as shifting mirrors of inner, relational, and becoming selves.
